Retail work.
Sucks all manner of A**.
It has to be one of the single most degrading employment opportunities on the face of the earth. I mean, really, where else can random strangers come along and make you feel like utter and complete crap?
Retail!
Though, to be fair, retail isn't half bad if you're using it to pay the bills (especially while going to school.) It's a job like any other job...I just have personal feelings against it.
Can't touch this one, never been employed in the retail department. Closest I've come to it is working as a food server, but I wasn't really selling the food. Either people ate it or didn't, and regardless of their decision, I got paid. So, will skip a week, but not from negligence.

I find it excrutiatingly ironic {and therefore bloody amusing} that you have effectively franchised this week's topic in favor of bitching about the evils of working for franchises. :-)
